The Aviation Cocktail is a cocktail created in 1916, during World War II, in honor of the British pilots. This drink has two possible creators: the first tells the improvisation of a barman in a circle of aviation official, that mix it in honor of the British pilots. It was often used as ritual cocktail, with which the pilots toasted on their return. The second theory equates the creator as the first to write down the recipe: Hugo Ensslin, in 1916, dedicating it to the aviation pioneers. Excellent as an after-dinner thanks to its ingredients.
